Glorystar Chemicals donates 5,000 KN95 masks to support the COVID-19 response

During the critical period for COVID-19 prevention and control, medical supplies were in short supply. Glorystar Chemicals donated 5,000 KN95 medical masks to Qichun County People’s Hospital, Dabie Mountain Prevention and Control Center, and Huanggang People’s Hospital. We did what we could to ease the shortage, support the joint response and bring hope to the community.

Stronger factory-wide prevention measures to protect employees
1. Leaders from Baiyun District Government visited Glorystar Chemicals to inspect post-resumption epidemic prevention measures.
After operations resumed, Chairman Mo Wanquan briefed Baiyun District Government leaders on the company’s epidemic-prevention arrangements during their visit to the factory.
2. The factory’s infection-control facilities
Pandemic-prevention facilities were set up at the factory entrance, and safety slogans were posted. These measures were intended to keep the virus from entering the premises.
3. Everyone entering the premises must be disinfected and have their temperature checked.
All employees entering the site passed through a disinfection room and had their temperature taken. Anyone with an abnormal reading was screened.
4. Disinfectant supplies were kept readily available so staff could work with peace of mind.
Every day, staff used disinfectant cleaners to disinfect office buildings, factories, workshops and other areas. They cleaned every corner to maintain a safe and reliable workplace.
A donation of masks by Glorystar Chemicals employee Liu Guoqing
As the nation fights the novel coronavirus, protective masks are scarce. On 18 February, Liu Guoqing, sub-assembly workshop team leader, donated 50 disposable medical masks to the company to support epidemic prevention efforts. The company extends its sincere gratitude and deep respect to Mr Liu for his generous contribution!
