Classification and application of construction silicone sealants

Building silicone sealants can be divided into dealcoholization type glue, deketonexime type glue and deacidification type glue according to the small molecules released.

Dealcoholized glue

Dealcoholized glue releases alcohol substances when cured, is neutrally cured, has low odor and is environmentally friendly. It is non-corrosive to metals, coated glass, PC boards, concrete and marble, and is suitable for most substrates. There are basically no substrate restrictions.

Deketoxime glue

The ketone oxime glue releases butanone oxime when it is cured. The ketone oxime glue has good adhesion to most substrates, but it has certain corrosion on copper and mirrors. Ketone oxime glue has good storage stability, fast deep curing, adjustable surface drying time, and good climate adaptability. It is not easy to bubble in high temperature environment and not easy to bulge in low temperature environment. .

Deacidification type glue

The deacidified glue releases acetic acid when cured. It has the characteristics of fast curing, good adhesion and high transparency. It can be used for bonding and sealing of point glass curtain walls, all-glass curtain walls, glass lighting roofs and other large glass. It is not suitable for bonding and sealing of concrete, stone and coated glass.
