Guangzhou Glorystar Chemicals Co., Ltd. was established in 1996 and produces construction sealants under the Glorystar Chemicals brand. In 2000, as its business grew, the company acquired 70 mu (about 4.7 hectares) of land in the Guangzhou Liwan (Jianggao) Environmental Protection Industrial Park and established Glorystar Industrial Park to develop silicone sealants and related environmentally friendly building materials. In July 2013, the company invested a further RMB 300 million in additional R&D buildings, offices, production workshops and warehouses.
Guangzhou Glorystar Chemicals Co., Ltd. has always followed its “Technology Achieves Quality” philosophy while developing environmentally friendly building materials. In terms of technological innovation, the company carries out technical cooperation with world and domestic famous chemical companies and scientific research institutions, and constantly explores new areas of environmentally friendly building materials. Today, the company has become a large-scale environmentally friendly building materials manufacturer with multiple wholly-owned subsidiaries. It has also invested heavily in establishing the “Glorystar Chemicals Environmentally Friendly Building Materials Engineering Technology Research and Development Center”. It has gathered a group of well-known domestic environmentally friendly building materials experts, independently developed a series of environmentally friendly building materials products, and undertook the environmentally friendly building materials scientific research projects of the national Spark Plan. At the same time, the company has also become the official formulator of “National Standard GB16776 “Silicone Structural Sealant for Construction”, National Standard GB/T23261 “Silicone Stone Sealant”, National Standard GB/T24267 “Fire-Retardant Silicone Sealant” and “National Standard Silicone Building Sealant” GB/ One of the compilation and drafting units of T14683, and has been certified by national agencies to become a silicone structural adhesive production certified enterprise, ISO9001: 2008 international quality management system certification, China Environmental Product Certification (Ten Ring Mark), Guangzhou Famous Trademark, Guangdong Province Famous Brand and other honorary titles.
