Glorystar Chemicals passes the ISO 10012 measurement management system audit

In 2015, the measurement management system audit team from the Guangdong branch of the Zhongqi Metrology System Certification Centre visited our company to conduct an ISO 10012:2003 certification audit.

The measurement management system covers the full process, from product development and raw-material testing to production monitoring, product quality inspection, material and energy consumption, cost accounting, production safety and environmental monitoring. This is a cross-functional undertaking. Our company actively implements ISO 10012:2003, continually improves its measurement and testing system, and works to ensure the system functions as intended.

The measurement management system has helped raise our company’s measurement management standards, particularly by improving testing capabilities and strengthening process control and measurement-data management. It has supported a shift from traditional to scientific management, from extensive to refined management, and from a focus on measuring equipment to tighter control of measurement processes. This has brought the system into line with international standards and made measurement management more compliant, scientific and standardised. Establishing and operating a system based on ISO 10012 has helped Glorystar Chemicals Company use measurement management to improve its overall management continuously.

At the review meeting, the two audit experts praised our company’s performance in operating its management systems. They also offered guidance and recommendations for the next stage of our measurement management work.

After a thorough on-site audit, the expert team unanimously concluded that our ISO 10012 measurement management system operates effectively on an ongoing basis and that its measurement processes and equipment controls comply with ISO 10012:2003. Glorystar Chemicals successfully passed the audit.
