Glorystar and South China University of Technology receive a technology award

Glorystar and South China University of Technology jointly developed technology for the industrial production of pregelatinised starch powder. The project received a third prize in the China Light Industry Federation’s 2021 Science and Technology Progress Awards. The award ceremony took place on August 9, 2022.

Research into modified starch powder and its industrial applications resulted in 7 invention patents, 5 academic papers and 3 products recognised as Guangdong high-tech products. The project also included work on standards JC/T 2316-2015 and DB44/T 1134-2013.

The collaboration builds on Glorystar’s R&D experience in adhesives and its work with universities to put research into practice.
