Glorystar recognised for donating protective clothing to frontline medical staff

Following the COVID-19 outbreak in Guangzhou in May, Glorystar donated 1,000 disposable medical protective suits to the Baiyun District Red Cross to support frontline hospital staff in the district.

On July 22, the deputy director of the Baiyun District Health Bureau and the vice president of the district’s Red Cross attended the donation ceremony and presented certificates to the contributing companies.

Founded in 1999, Guangzhou Glorystar Industrial Co., Ltd. combines business development with social responsibility. Alongside its work on environmentally friendly building materials, the company supports communities affected by disease outbreaks and disasters through charitable contributions. From 2010 to 2020, its donations totalled RMB 1,518,500. Recognition included the China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation’s 2010 Charity Star award for organisations and its 2011 Charity Award.
