Glorystar presents its latest product improvements

Glorystar has improved several construction sealants to enhance adhesion and durability, responding to the needs of building projects.

The improved insulation-panel adhesive was tested over 15 cycles, each comprising 12 hours at −30°C followed by 12 hours at 70°C. The reported results showed resistance to weathering and ageing, with adhesion to different calcium silicate boards. The improvements addressed bonding limitations of earlier products on aluminium composite and calcium silicate panels.

A23 is a multipurpose, paintable adhesive for interior decoration. The product introduction describes a low-VOC formulation without formaldehyde or toluene. Applications include bonding plasterboard and skirting boards, bonding and sealing decorative panels, repairing tiles, walls and floors, and sealing vehicle compartments.

The high-strength adhesive range includes products for lifts, tiles and flooring, as well as grab adhesives. Applications include bonding metal fittings, timber, skirting boards, plaster mouldings, partitions, tiles, glass and decorative fittings. The range focuses on high initial tack, bond strength, fast curing and low VOC content.

This weatherproofing sealant has Class 50 movement capability to accommodate expansion, contraction and shear movement in curtain wall joints. The product introduction describes adhesion to PC, metals and other building materials without corrosion, together with easy extrusion and resistance to slumping. Applications include glass and aluminium curtain walls.

The sealant for prefabricated buildings offers elastic recovery and movement accommodation, with a stated elongation of 500–600%. Its paintable surface and non-staining formulation support use on a range of building substrates.
